"Hard" Man - IWC TOP GUN Watch

Over the years, IWC has launched a series of TOP GUN special edition watches. In 2007, IWC’s first pilot series Top Gun took the stage with the Double Chronograph posture. The name of the series came from the special training course of "Fighter Tactical Instructor" provided by the US Navy Fighter Defense School (its famous alias is Top Gun, now converted to the US Marine Corps). All the time, the IWC TOP GUN special edition watch has been widely loved by men for its distinctive personality.

In 2018, IWC launched a special edition of the pilot's chronograph "Attack Fighter Tactical Instructor", which is only available to graduates of the Navy Fighter Weapons School. The watch was widely acclaimed once it was launched, so IWC took this as an inspiration to launch the new IWC Pilot's Series Top Gun Chronograph "SFTI" Special Edition, which was sold as a civilian version.

IWC Pilot's Series TOP GUN Chronograph "SFTI" Special Edition (model IW389104) has a 44.5 mm diameter, and the case is made of matte black ceramic. The ceramic material has high hardness and is super scratch-resistant. Light black plays a good anti-reflective effect. The best IWC replica watches at captainthewatch.co.

Similar to most of the previous TOP GUN special edition watches of the IWC pilot series, the new chronograph "SFTI" special edition is entirely black and embellished with red. The hour markers, scales and hands are all made of contrasting white to achieve maximum Legibility. Unlike the special edition of the IWC "Strike Fighter Tactical Coach" which was only sold to Top Gun graduates in 2018, the new watch does not have the iconic TOPGUN graduate embroidery badge at 9 o'clock, but is replaced by a 12-hour timer sub-dial. The small seconds at 6 o'clock and the 30-minute timer sub-dial at 12 o'clock. There is a week calendar window at 3 o'clock. The chronograph second hand presents the shape of a navy jet fighter, and the tail of the needle and the small second hand at 6 o'clock are all decorated with red.
